so tonight’s entry is yet another food-related one. i swear i’m going to nip this. but not tonight.
(the thing about it is, i do ads. and other than ads, i enjoy food and mostly making food so what else am i going to write about?)
anyway tonight i went out for a glass of wine, some fine cheeses and meats, and $1 oysters. you wouldn’t think $1 oysters would be among one’s top oysters but they were among mine. perhaps i have not had enough oysters in my day.
as usual, i digress.
i also went to an art show at erin brynne (not sure how to spell that last name but don’t feel like googling so i landed on that.) then got a voicemail from my mother that insisted i was probably in a ditch somewhere. not that i’ve ever seen a ditch in nyc.
aside from all that, i made buttermilk mac and cheese when i got home. i didn’t have reg milk so i winged it with what i had. and i have to say buttermilk makes a good mac and cheese. (don’t even ask why i had buttermilk in the house in the first place.)
oh wow. i’m dead-tired. it’s officially time to hit the proverbial hay. hasta la vista babies.
