Whipping up stuff

I’ve decided I want to be a whipper upper of stuff. (“you” may have read that in my Facebook status update just minutes ago and for that I’m sorry…and by “you” I mean myself when I reread for errors just before I post…hope this brings a smile to Future Me because I’m my biggest follower.)

Clearly I digress…

But tonight I whipped this up for Past Me:

Garlic Lime Shrimp, Spanish Rice and Black Beans. 

Probably the best part is I used leftover takeout carrots and celery from the buffalo wing session of Saturday’s Testosterone Fest. Now I feel I’ve overshadowed Boy Day by reusing the ingredients to “whip up.” I’m now a whipper-upper and Martha’s got very little on me, except maybe the fact that she’d probably never be caught dead using “used” veggies for a dish. Yeah.
